North of Hell is a savage display of Japanese grind-infused death metal that combines the putrid goregrind aesthetics of early Carcass and General Surgery with the crushing brutality of Dead Infection and Exhumed. Across eleven tracks, Butcher ABC unleash a relentless barrage of filthy guitar riffs, guttural vocals, blast beats and grinding rhythms, occasionally slowing down for heavy, groove-driven passages that add weight to the overall assault. The lyrical themes revolve around gore, death, dismemberment and apocalyptic violence, perfectly complementing the album's gruesome underground atmosphere. Tracks like "House of Meats," "Maximum Rotting Corpse" and "Death by Napalm" showcase the band's ability to balance grinding ferocity with memorable old-school death metal riffing. Raw, disgusting and unapologetically brutal, this is an excellent slab of gore-soaked deathgrind for fans of the genre's most savage traditions.
